The Genie Main Menu is always visible at the top of the screen. There are different options to reach different functions in the system.
| Alarms | provides alarm handling functions and displays the history event log. |
| Access | functions are used to set user access. Program users, keys, Door and Area Access groups and other user details. Access also contains options for Key Management and Floor Access Groups. |
| Control | access the Command Centre, Graphics Viewer and Graphics Editor, Door Watcher and DXF converter. |
| Reports | Archive reports, Status reports and Installer reports are available for Standard and Professional Genie. Genie LIte has a report generator with a selection of Archive and Status reports. Time Attendance is available for systems with the option installed. |
| Points | Programming of points connected to Genesis panel (s). Area control lists and Output list programming. |
| Configure | options relate to Time Control, Holidays, Panel programming and configuration, Operators and permissions, Workstations and other aspects of the system |
| Help | access details of the system installed, and the online compiled help for the system |
